Heavy: a vignette for Wednesday.
This wonderful, ginormous (logging?) chain was at a fave local salvage yard on Tuesday afternoon. $15 or $20, can't remember. Too bulky for my little garden, and not exactly right for my design sensibility (such as it is), but oh, I was tempted.

That's a fabulous find - I would have snagged it in heart beat! I can see why you were tempted. I used to scavenge scrap yards on a weekly basis when I lived in the rust belt. I miss my romps into the fields of rusty goodness! Thanks for bringing forth the memory, Luisa! :)
ReplyDeleteAnna, thanks! Yes, so much rusty goodness... Don't want to overwhelm my yard, but there always seems to be something at the salvage place that I want for the garden. Bonus: stuff is cheap ;~)
DeleteI can see it hanging from a tree, or between two trees. Maybe intertwined with a vining cactus?
